Guayabera Shirt, is Right for You?

The Guayabera was thought a shirt of differentiation and was worn by men of importance. If one were to have traveled to the “Little Havana” part of Miami years ago, they’d just have looked older gentlemen wearing them. Many designers accepted the initiative and began creating versions to the shirt’s design and the Guayabera blew up onto the fashion scene. The original shirts were white and long sleeved affording the wearer a formal look. Nowadays, Guayaberas are more informal, and get into short sleeves and in a kind of tropical colors.
Celebrities and politicians have hugged the Guayabera’s rise to popularity. Fidel Castro has worn the shirt in base of his traditional uniform. His brother, Raul, put an olive green edition created for the Cuban army. Severally, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter wore them on overseas visits to the Philippines and Cuba. Mitt Romney and John McCain all used one on their quest for the presidency.
The Cuban Guayabera shirt has had a yearn chronicle and has shown to be a mode that will be in fashion forever.
