Do You Know When Your Hand Keeps The Secret?

December 2nd, 2009 by admin

Traditional Chinese and Oriental Medicine suggests that if a disease or an imbalance develops inside the body, signs of disease or imbalance will occur outside the body. Similarly, in Western medicine, it is well known that ailments, such as jaundice will change the color yellow and also it can be seen in the subtle change in eye color.

Chinese medicine focuses on Chi, also known as Qi, which is the energy flow in the body. When Chi flows smoothly inside the body, there will be no outward manifestation. However, if the energy channels get blocked and the Chi can move more freely, which leads to disease. The state-of-Chi relates to internal organs and systems are reflected in the acupuncture points on the skin and can more easily be measured by hand. Therefore, when a mild electrical stimulus is applied to acupoints in hand, a different sensation will be felt where there is a problem over where there is none.

Acupuncture points are the junctions along the meridians that store energy (Chi) which moves around the body. Stimulating the acupuncture points, either with a syringe, finger pressure or electro-magnetic pulses, increases the flow of chi in the body and therefore the body works better. Acupoints reflect the effectiveness of internal systems in the body and it is therefore possible to diagnose the health of the body by reading the flow of energy through acupuncture points. Because all organs and tissues are connected by meridians, it is possible to control acupoints in hand to determine the health and effectiveness of any part of the body through the hand.
